During the consultation, you will be given information on all the types of fillers and the amount that is needed to achieve your desired goal. What to Expect at Your Consultation
At your consultation, one of our expert providers will discuss your aesthetic goals and assess your facial structure to determine the best treatment plan. We will explain the different types of Juvederm fillers, how they work, and which options are best suited for your needs.
Your provider will also review what to expect during the procedure, how long results will last, and any pre-treatment guidelines, such as avoiding blood thinners before your appointment. The goal of the consultation is to ensure you feel informed, comfortable, and confident in your decision before moving forward with treatment.
What to Expect During Your Treatment
Your filler treatment will begin with a thorough cleansing of the area, and a topical numbing agent may be applied to enhance comfort. Using a fine needle or cannula, your provider will carefully inject the Juvederm filler into the targeted areas to restore volume and smooth wrinkles.
The entire procedure typically takes 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the number of areas being treated. Most patients experience minimal discomfort, thanks to the inclusion of lidocaine in Juvederm fillers, which helps numb the area as the injections are performed.
After treatment, mild swelling or redness may occur but typically subsides within a few hours to a couple of days. Patients can resume normal activities immediately, although strenuous exercise and excessive sun exposure should be avoided for 24-48 hours to allow the filler to settle properly.
